Webi dont know if it works in the newer freightliners, but i had a 2017 freightliner once that overrided the idle shutdown simply by setting the cruise control (yes, while parked).

Web — not sure if the bigger trucks are different, however like others have suggested i can override the 5 minute idle limit on my freightliner m2 by idling it up with.

Now it’s at 5,000.

Changed the pndb box as the red light was flashing.

Flashes a few times then stays on for about 30 seconds but the engine doesn't die.

Truck has gotten a “shutdown in progress” warning off and on since we got it at 1,500 miles.

About 3 weeks ago i was down the highway and the truck.
